During the past eighteen months my partner Dr. Molony and I have been much interested in an outbreak of acute catarrhal jaundice in Calcutta. The cases have not been sufficiently numerous to describe the disease as occurring in epidemic form, but as time went on it was obvious to us that persons were getting affected much more frequently than of yore.
